Chromate

A published price against every compound, from US$120.

United StatesPublished price listNot published as a fixed window

Before you send a sample

  • No published turnaround window, no laboratory address and no named accreditation body. The site describes literature-based methodology and professional-grade equipment.
  • Two price lists are merged above. The per-compound figures are published on the services page; the GFAAS, colorimetric screening, fentanyl, LC-MS impurity, pH, FTIR and comprehensive-package lines, and every volume discount, came from the Volta owner and are not on the public page. Confirm the owner-supplied ones when you order.

A US analytical laboratory serving the supplement and research community, and the most granular published price list in this directory: every peptide, research chemical and SARM it runs carries its own figure, and microbiology and variance testing are priced separately beside them. Chromate also runs a testing project that buys and tests products unannounced, publishing the results, funded from the proceeds of the commercial work.

Services and pricing

US$180 for most common peptides, US$240 to US$380 for less common ones.

Peptide analysis by HPLC, common compounds

US$180 per sample

Qualitative and quantitative analysis by HPLC. At this price: BPC-157, TB-500 (both the 43-mer and the 17-23 fragment), CJC-1295 with and without DAC, ipamorelin, GHRP-2, GHRP-6, hGH fragment 176-191, AOD-9604, melanotan II, PT-141 and triptorelin.

Peptide analysis by HPLC, second tier

US$240 per sample

Adamax, DSIP, epithalon, GHK basic, GHK-Cu, gonadorelin, hexarelin, selank, semax, sermorelin, tesamorelin and thymosin alpha-1. Glutathione is the outlier on the peptide list at US$120.

GLP-1 and growth hormone analysis

US$300 per sample, US$380 for the newer agonists

Semaglutide, tirzepatide, retatrutide, liraglutide and hGH (191aa) at US$300; hGH with dimer at US$420; cagrilintide, mazdutide and survodutide at US$380.

Less common peptides

US$380 per sample

Kisspeptin-10, KPV, melanotan I, MOTS-c and oxytocin.

Sterility test, USP <71>

US$240 per sample

Qualitative assessment of aerobic and anaerobic microbes and yeast by membrane filtration and incubation, per USP <71>. Needs an additional vial.

Endotoxin count

US$240 per sample

Quantitative determination of lipopolysaccharides by kinetic chromogenic LAL, sensitive to 0.0001 ng of LPS, reported in endotoxin units.

Variance testing

US$50 per additional peptide vial, US$30 per additional capsule or tablet

Additional vials from the same batch run against the first, to expose vial-to-vial variance.

Research chemicals and SARMs

US$170–$300 per sample

SARMs at a flat US$170. Aromatase inhibitors, SERMs, PDE5 inhibitors, 5-alpha reductase inhibitors and thyroid hormones at US$180. Tesofensine, SLU-PP-332 and 5-amino-1-MQ at US$300.

Supplement analysis

US$120–$300 per sample

Creatine, TUDCA and melatonin at US$120; EVOO biophenols at US$300, reported as total biophenol count in mg/kg by the IOOC method.

Heavy metals by GFAAS

US$180 per sample

Turnaround: 5 business days

Graphite furnace atomic absorption, quantitative, on its own sample.

Colorimetric heavy metal screening

US$60 per sample

A screen rather than a quantitation, and it runs on the same vial used for the HPLC work, so it costs no extra material.

Fentanyl screening

US$40 per sample

Tested on the same vial used for HPLC. The cheapest line in this directory, and one almost no peptide laboratory offers at all.

Impurity characterisation by LC-MS

US$120 alongside HPLC analysis, US$180 standalone

Qualitative analysis and impurity characterisation. Cheaper bought with the HPLC run than on its own.

pH testing

US$60

pH of the reconstituted or supplied solution.

FTIR

US$240

Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy for chemical property confirmation.

Comprehensive testing package

US$650

HPLC analysis, sterility assessment, endotoxin count and heavy metal screening in one order. The volume discounts below do not apply to this package.

Volume and discounts

  • US$50 off per additional vial from the same batch (variance analysis)
  • 33% off additional batches of the same compound, for example BPC-157 5mg and 10mg submitted together
  • 10% off orders of US$1,200 or more
  • 15% off orders of US$5,000 or more
  • None of the above apply to the comprehensive testing package

Methods

  • Qualitative and quantitative analysis by HPLC, which is the default for everything unless stated otherwise
  • Membrane filtration and incubation for sterility, USP <1223> BacT/ALERT, equivalent to USP <71>
  • Kinetic chromogenic LAL for endotoxin on FDA-certified Endosafe, sensitive to 0.0001 ng of LPS
  • GFAAS for quantitative heavy metals, with a colorimetric screen as the cheap alternative
  • LC-MS for impurity characterisation, and FTIR for chemical property confirmation

What to send

  • Peptide vials: at least one vial for HPLC, and an additional vial for each microbiology test.
  • Powders: 200 to 1000 mg in a small bag or a 2 mL autosampler vial.
  • Liquids: 0.5 to 1 mL in a small vial.
  • Capsules or tablets: a few, in a bag or container.
  • Seal the container, label it with the name and batch number, and put a slip of paper with your email inside so the order can be identified.

How submission works

  1. 1Contact to orderTests are selected and ordered by email rather than through a shop checkout.
  2. 2Ship to the US laboratoryThe shipping address is released after payment. The site recommends FedEx or UPS and notes that USPS first-class in a padded envelope is the cheapest but least reliable option.
  3. 3Results in the Verify portalResults are published to the Verify portal linked at the top of the site.

Best for

Buying exactly one test rather than a bundle, checking a compound most peptide laboratories do not list, and comparing a peptide result against the same laboratory's supplement work.

Shipping from Canada: International. A Canadian sample crosses the border into the United States.

Where this came from. Home, about, services, project, contact and terms pages read from chromate.org. The per-compound peptide, research-chemical, SARM, supplement, sterility, endotoxin and variance prices are published on the services page. The GFAAS, colorimetric, fentanyl, LC-MS, pH, FTIR and comprehensive-package prices, and the four volume discounts, were supplied by the Volta owner on 2026-09-12 and are not on the public page. Last checked 2026-09-11. Prices and turnaround change without notice, so confirm directly with the laboratory before shipping a sample.
