Supplier Documentation

Everything a purchasing office asks for, in one place

Company identity, catalogue specifications, the full batch-testing record, storage and handling conditions, and the commercial paperwork that comes with an order. Each entry says whether it is published here, issued with your order, or sent on request, so you can tell what you can check right now from what you have to ask for.

What the labels mean

Published

On this site now. Open it without asking anyone.

With your order

Issued automatically when you order. Nothing to request.

On request

Not published. Email us naming the compound and batch number.

Specifications

Identity and specification data for the whole catalogue, in a form a purchasing system can read rather than eighty-seven product pages.

Catalogue specification index

Published

One row per SKU: catalogue number, CAS number, molecular formula and weight, purity specification, physical form, solubility, shelf life and the full storage paragraph. Derived from the catalogue, so it is never out of date with the product pages.

  • Catalogue number and batch number for every SKU
  • CAS number, molecular formula and molecular weight
  • Purity specification (>99% by HPLC) as distinct from any measured result
  • Physical form, reconstitution solvent and stated shelf life
  • Whether a third-party certificate is published for the compound

Per-product specification table

Published

The same fields rendered on each product page, alongside the compound's storage and stability notes, sequence-level analysis and comparison against its nearest peers.

  • Specification table and batch number
  • Vial and concentration working figures
  • Storage and stability notes specific to the compound

Testing and certificates

What was measured, by whom, on which lot, and how to check the result against the laboratory rather than against us.

Batch-history dataset

Published

Every Certificate of Analysis we have published, one row per laboratory report, with the measured purity, the net peptide content, the method, the laboratory, the lot number and whether that lot number matches the batch number printed on the product.

  • Measured chromatographic purity for each lot
  • Net peptide content against the label claim
  • Lot number on the certificate against the batch number on the product
  • The laboratory's own verification URL for each report

Certificates of Analysis

Published

The certificates themselves, published page by page as images. The source PDFs are never served: a certificate is the document a competitor would most like in editable form, and everything a certificate states is also on the page as text.

  • Identity confirmation against a reference standard
  • Chromatographic purity and the method used
  • Net peptide content and fill accuracy
  • The laboratory's scope statement, reproduced in full

Testing methodology

Published

How a batch gets from synthesis to a published result, including what the purity figure does and does not bound.

  • Solid-phase synthesis and preparative HPLC purification
  • Independent third-party analysis, never in-house only
  • HPLC-MS/MS with identity confirmed by MRM transition
  • Chromatographic purity as principal-component peak area (Ph. Eur. 2.2.46)

Storage and handling

How the material is stored, reconstituted and kept stable, stated per compound rather than as one catalogue-wide sentence.

Storage and handling conditions

Published

Lyophilised and reconstituted storage temperatures, freeze-thaw guidance, shipping stability and in-use window, stated per compound rather than as one catalogue-wide sentence.

  • Lyophilised storage temperature and light conditions
  • Reconstitution solvent and post-reconstitution storage
  • Freeze-thaw guidance and in-use window
  • Ambient stability during shipping

Commercial documentation

The paperwork a purchasing department needs to raise, reconcile and file an order.

Itemised order record

With your order

An itemised record with line totals, shipping and the total charged is emailed when payment is received and stays available in your account.

  • Line items, quantities and unit prices
  • Shipping charge and order total in the currency charged
  • Order reference and payment method
  • Shipping address and tracking once the label is created

Formal invoice for a purchase order

On request

An invoice made out to an institution, quoting your purchase order number, for accounts-payable filing. Issued on request against a placed order.

  • Institution as the billed party
  • Your purchase order reference
  • Line items, catalogue numbers and batch numbers

Terms of sale

Published

The published terms covering specification, title, delivery and the research-use-only restriction that governs every order.

  • Purity specification and identity data supplied
  • Research-use-only restriction
  • Delivery, title and risk

Reading the purity columns

Two of the downloadable files carry a purity figure and they are not the same kind of number.

Purity specification

>99%

The release threshold. Every batch has to clear >99% by HPLC before it ships, and this is the figure quoted in the specification table on every product page. It is a standard, not a measurement.

Measured batch purity

e.g. 99.9%

The number an independent laboratory actually reported for one production lot, printed on that lot's Certificate of Analysis alongside the method, the date and the laboratory's own verification link. It is a measurement, not a standard, and it belongs to one lot only.

Batch number

e.g. VPBP10100

The string that joins the two. It is printed on the product page and on the vial, and the certificate for that lot prints it as the lot number, so a reader can confirm the certificate in front of them describes the vial in front of them.

Every Volta batch is released to a specification of >99% purity by HPLC. A Certificate of Analysis reports what an independent laboratory measured for one specific lot: a single figure such as 99.9%, on a named date, by a named method. Every product carries a batch number, and the lot number printed on its certificate is that same string, so the document can be matched to the vial rather than taken on trust.

The batch record

8 of 87 catalogue SKUs have a published third-party certificate. Those reports are below and in the downloadable dataset; the rest of the range carries the specification and the batch number without a published report yet.

3 certificates published. The file is rebuilt from the certificates themselves, so it gains a row the moment one is added.
