Volta Peptides sells research peptides for sale in the USA, sent to US addresses from our warehouse in California. This page explains how buying from us works, end to end. It covers shipping, tax, returns and payment. It also gives you a checklist for judging any peptide supplier, including us.
Everything we sell is for in-vitro laboratory research only. It is not a drug, a supplement or food. We do not give dosing or usage advice.

How to tell if a peptide supplier is worth buying from
Search for "peptides for sale" and you will find hundreds of storefronts. Almost all of them say "99% pure" and "third-party tested". Those words cost nothing to type. What separates suppliers is whether a claim can be checked by you, without trusting the seller. These checks work on any vendor, including us.
Know the difference between a specification and a measurement
A purity figure on a product page is usually a specification. It is a target the seller sets. A certificate of analysis is a measurement. It is one result, from one laboratory, on one lot. A supplier that blurs the two is asking you to treat a promise as a test result. Ours is stated plainly: >99% is our release specification, and a certificate is what a laboratory measured.
Ask which laboratory tested it, and for the report number
A real certificate names the laboratory, carries a report number and states the lot it covers. Anyone who holds one can answer those questions in a single line. If a seller cannot say which lab tested a product, treat the purity claim as unverified. Our guide on how to read a certificate of analysis walks through each field.
Verify the certificate with the laboratory, not the seller
This is the one check that does not depend on the vendor at all. Many laboratories run a public lookup where you enter a code or follow a link and see the original result. A PDF on a seller's website can be edited. A record on the laboratory's own site is much harder to fake. The free COA verification tool on FreePeptideTools.com, a site we run, works on any supplier's certificate. Our directory of peptide testing labs lists laboratories and says which ones offer public verification.
Match the lot to the vial
A certificate only describes the sample the laboratory received. Check that the lot or batch number on the certificate matches the vial or product you are buying. A certificate for a different strength or a different lot tells you about that sample, not yours.
Read what the certificate actually covers
Purity by HPLC tells you how much of the sample is the main peptide versus related impurities. Mass spectrometry confirms identity. Net peptide content tells you how much peptide is in the vial. Endotoxin and sterility are separate tests, and most certificates do not include them. Read the method line before you assume a test was run.
Look for policies written down
Shipping windows, return terms and refund rules should be on the site in plain words before you pay. A supplier that only explains them after a problem is a supplier that can change them after a problem.
Check that a real company is behind the shop
Look for a legal business name and a postal address. Look for a support channel that answers. A site with neither has nothing to lose by disappearing, and in this market sites disappear often.
Red flags
- Purity claims with no laboratory named.
- Certificates that cannot be checked anywhere but the seller's site.
- One certificate shown for all strengths or all products.
- Health, weight or performance claims about a "research" product.
- Dosing charts or usage instructions next to a research-use-only label.
- No business name, no address, and no written return policy.

A supplier comparison worksheet
Use this table to compare any US peptide supplier side by side. The right-hand column is our own answer to each question, so you can hold us to it.
| Question to ask | What a good answer looks like | Volta's answer |
|---|---|---|
| Who tested it? | A named, independent laboratory | SideChain Analytics |
| Can I verify the result myself? | A link to the laboratory's own record | Yes. Every published certificate links to the laboratory's verification page. |
| How many certificates are published? | A real number, not a blanket promise | Our COAs are available on product pages and each vial comes with a QR code and batch number to connect that exact vial to the COA it belongs to. |
| What method was used? | Named on the certificate | HPLC-MS/MS, with identity confirmed against a reference standard |
| Is purity a promise or a result? | Stated clearly | >99% is our release specification. The certificate is the measured result. |
| Does the lot match my product? | A lot number on the certificate you can compare | Product pages print a batch number. Certificates print the laboratory's lot number. Compare them. |
| Where does a US order ship from? | A named place, with any exceptions stated | California, or British Columbia when California cannot fill the whole order |
| What are the shipping options? | Carrier, service and window | Standard by DHL Expedited, FedEx 2 Days, FedEx Overnight |
| Is tax shown before payment? | Yes, as its own line | Yes |
| What is the return policy? | Written, with a window and who pays postage | 7 calendar days from delivery. See below. |
| Who runs the business? | Legal name and address | Volta Peptides Ltd, 3750 N Fraser Way, Burnaby, BC V5J 5E9, Canada |
| Will they give dosing advice? | No, for a research supplier | No |
What we publish so you can check us
We publish certificates of analysis publicly on our certificates page. All come from independent 3rd party laboratories. Each one shows the laboratory's report number, the lot number, the reported date, the measured purity and the net peptide content. Each one has a "Verify on lab's website" link that opens the result on the lab's own site.
What our certificates report:
- Purity by HPLC, as the main-peak share of the sample.
- Identity, confirmed by tandem mass spectrometry against a reference standard.
- Net peptide content, the measured mass of peptide in the vial.
We publish certificates strictly per batch and never assign a COA to a batch it was not specifically tested for. Every certificate states the vial size it tested. Where a product page shows a certificate for a different strength of the same compound, the page says which strength it covers.
Our quality page explains the difference between our specification and a laboratory measurement. Our documentation page lists the paperwork we can provide and how you receive each item.
Returns and order problems
Our refund policy sets out the full terms. In short:
- Window: claims within 7 calendar days of delivery, with the product kept sealed in its original packaging.
- All sales are final unless there is a valid reason, such as a wrong product shipped, a different quantity, or damage on arrival.
- If something is our fault: a full refund to your original payment method, or a replacement, as you choose. We pay the return postage and send the label.
If something looks wrong when your parcel arrives, contact us before you send anything back. Support runs 24/7 and usually replies in under 90 minutes.

How a US order works, step by step
1. Create a free account
The catalogue and prices are shown only to signed-in visitors. That is a rule for research materials, not a sales tactic. The account is free. There is no approval queue, and you are signed in as soon as you register. You must be 21 or older. Create an account or sign in.
2. Browse the catalogue
The catalogue is grouped by composition: peptides, peptide blends, copper peptides, melanotan peptides, bioregulators, and cofactors and small molecules. Each product page shows its specification, its batch number and, where we hold one, its certificate.
Prices appear once you are signed in, with volume pricing on each product page. To see what research peptides cost across the US market, our price study of 46 US suppliers lists every price we could read, ours included.
3. Declare your research purpose at checkout
Checkout asks two things, and neither is filled in for you. First, you choose your research purpose from five options: independent researcher, MD, research foundation, research institute or analytical laboratory. Second, you tick a box confirming the order is for research use only. We record your declaration with the order.
4. Choose shipping and pay
Checkout lists the shipping options open to your order, with their prices, before you pay. US orders can be paid by credit or debit card or by cryptocurrency, in US dollars. Any sales tax appears as its own line.
5. Track the parcel
You get an email at each step: when the label is created, when the carrier scans the parcel, while it is in transit and when it is delivered. You can also look up an order at any time on the order tracking page with your order number and email. No account is needed for that.
Shipping to US addresses
Most suppliers say "fast shipping" and stop there. Here is exactly what you can choose from our California warehouse.
| Service | Carrier | Typical transit after dispatch | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | DHL Expedited | 3 to 5 business days | Free on orders over $149 USD. Otherwise shown at checkout. |
| FedEx 2 Days | FedEx | 2 business days | Paid upgrade, shown at checkout |
| FedEx Overnight | FedEx | 1 business day | Paid upgrade, shown at checkout |
A few details are worth knowing before you order.
Free shipping is strictly over $149 USD. An order of exactly $149 still pays for shipping. Anything over $149 ships free. Free shipping applies to the Standard service. If you pick a faster service on a qualifying order, you pay only the difference between the two prices.
Stock decides where the parcel leaves from. We send US orders from California whenever that warehouse can fill the whole order. When it cannot, the order ships from our warehouse in British Columbia instead. That parcel crosses the border and clears customs on the way, so its window is wider: typically 3 to 8 business days after dispatch. Checkout knows which warehouse is filling your order and shows the options for that parcel.
Orders are not split by default. One warehouse fills the whole order where it can. If neither can pack it whole, it can arrive as two parcels with two tracking numbers.
Prices are not printed on this page. Shipping rates change, and an old rate on a guide page misleads people. Checkout and our shipping policy always show the current figures.
What "research use only" means at Volta
Research use only is not a disclaimer we add at the end. It shapes what we sell and what we say.
- Our products are supplied for in-vitro laboratory research.
- They are not drugs, supplements, cosmetics or food.
- They are not for human or animal use, clinical use or diagnosis.
- We do not give dosing, preparation-for-use or administration advice, and our staff will not answer those questions.
If you need a medicine, you need a prescriber and a licensed pharmacy, not a research supplier. Our full terms are in the research use disclaimer and the terms of sale.

Is it legal to buy research peptides in the USA?
Research peptides are sold in the United States as laboratory reagents for in-vitro research. They are not drugs approved for use in people, and a product sold for research may not be sold or used as one. Rules can differ by compound and by state, so check what applies to your work. This page is not legal advice.
How do I find a legit peptide website?
Look for a legal company name and address, certificates that name a laboratory and a lot, and a way to check each certificate on the laboratory's own website. Then ask a question only an operator could answer. Our guide on how to tell a peptide supplier is legitimate has the full checklist.
Do you sell wholesale?
Yes. Larger orders get wholesale pricing, shown once you are signed in.
How do I track my order?
You get an email at each shipping step. You can also enter your order number and email on the order tracking page at any time, with no account needed.
