Our Editorial Process

Content published on VoltaPeptides.com is written by the Volta Peptides editorial team and carries the team byline. Where the subject falls inside his scope it also carries a named technical review by Marcus Hopkin, PhD, Director of Research and Development, shown separately from the byline with its own date. We do not attach a person's name to work they did not do. Every piece goes through a structured workflow before publication:

1. Research & Drafting — A member of the editorial team drafts the content using primary scientific literature and verified industry data.
2. Accuracy Review — A second team member reviews all factual claims, cross-referencing cited sources and confirming data accuracy.
3. Technical Review — Content covering peptide chemistry, analytical testing, purity, identity or stability is checked for scientific and analytical accuracy by our Director of Research and Development. This is internal review by an employee. It is not peer review, independent third-party review or medical review, and no page on this site may describe it as any of those.
4. Publication & Monitoring — Published content is monitored and periodically re-reviewed for continued accuracy.

Sourcing & Fact-Checking

We base our content on peer-reviewed research papers, regulatory filings (FDA, EMA, TGA), and verified industry sources. All factual claims are traced back to their original source.

• Primary sources include PubMed-indexed journals, clinical trial registries, and official regulatory documents.
• Claims drawn from secondary sources are independently verified against the underlying data before publication.
• Where consensus is evolving or data is preliminary, we state this explicitly and avoid presenting findings as conclusive.
• Product-related content references batch-specific Certificates of Analysis and third-party HPLC testing data.

Marcus Hopkin, PhD, is Director of Research and Development at Volta Peptides. He has more than 12 years of analytical chemistry experience, including direct laboratory work in peptide synthesis, characterization, purity testing and stability assessment. His doctoral research at the University of Michigan examined novel peptide structures in the human proteome and their potential significance for therapeutic-peptide research. Before joining Volta Peptides he held research and development roles at Amgen and Eli Lilly and Company, and served as a lecturer at the University of Michigan.
